A political science graduate of Seton Hall University, Joseph DiBella began working with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey after completing his degree. Over his 14-year tenure with the company, he served as an account manager for large, institutional clients, including Fortune 100 companies. His responsibilities included managing health benefits and overseeing a large team of account professionals. Additionally, he built expertise in data analytics, health and wellness initiative design, compliance, and strategic planning. Joseph DiBella was the eight-time recipient of the company’s President’s Circle Award.
Since 2005, Mr. DiBella has worked at Conner Strong & Buckelew, a consulting and brokerage practice that helps national employers design their health plans. As managing director, he leads a team of experienced consultants in the designs, administration, and brokerage of employee health and benefit plans.
In addition to his work with Conner Strong & Buckelew, Joseph DiBella serves on the board of Paradigm Holdings, an organization that provides stop-loss coverage for middle-market firms throughout the country. Mr. DiBella’s 25-plus years in the health care and employee benefits profession has garnered him recognition among Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 Over 40, and he has shared his expertise in a number of periodicals.
